  • Recognizing Excellence: Stacey Zurek

    The Faculty Center for Ignatian Pedagogy is inaugurating a feature designed to recognize faculty and staff who go above and beyond their official responsibilities in serving the Loyola community. The first recipient of “Recognizing Excellence” is Stacey Zurek. Stacey is an instructional designer and course developer working with the Health Sciences Division in Maywood. She holds a master’s degree in Instructional Design and in Physical Education and Health and is currently furthering her education by completing a PhD in Learning Design and Technology. In previous years, Stacey has coached both women’s basketball and volleyball. Her skill for coaching soon turned into a knack for teaching. She has taught Physical Education, Health, Educational Technology and Instructional Design. Due to her experience as a coach, Stacey values both team and individual success.
